Then agaian I suppose this water was released slowly and carefully so as not to break the surface tension. Surface tension is not affected by gravity (it is the molecular "pull" of one molecule to another. all of the water molecules are attracted to each other. On the outside of the sphere of water, the molecules are only pulled in (because of the lack of molecular "pull" from the air around it) causing the water to only be pulled in, and to stay in the form of a sphere!)
