Burned electric pole

04 September 2010 – Russia. Burned electric pole in the steppe after a fire in Volgogradsky region. A team of Greenpeace staff and volunteers initially monitored the situation between Moscow and the Rjazan region, south-east of Moscow, one of the hottest and most affected areas. Later the team helped extinguish the fires.
