If you feel somewhat non-fit, this collection of photos of an evolution of a guy through 4 years could convince you to go fitness. And it will not take long, only 5 months hard work would make you look good already. Thanks to Simo for sending. Update: This is from John Stone Fitness, thanks to JGiles for the hint. -Quang-

he looked better soemwhere near the middle.
at the end it’s sort of gross.
March 30th, 2007 12:37
It looks Photoshoped to me !!!!
his face does not change in many of the images –they look like a cut/paste.
call me cynical or just jealous
March 30th, 2007 13:49
what happened to his chest hair???
March 30th, 2007 14:42
All I really have to say about this is…ew. What’s up with the extreme tanning? I personally think that he should have stopped back in 2004 sometime. I find nothing at all attractive about those disturbingly massive muscles of late. It kind of grosses me out. I mean…a fit guy is ok, but that’s just ugly.
March 30th, 2007 15:01
Definitely takes a turn for the worse starting around 2006. But those first 5 months are impressive.
March 30th, 2007 15:17
yeah ha ha in the end he looks kinda weird i cant beleive he lost that flop of belly in the first month…photoshop, anyone?
March 30th, 2007 20:28
Total Photoshop. The faces are the same through several series. Oh Well
March 30th, 2007 23:26
I like the 4th or 5th month the best. Afer that it’s to much.
March 31st, 2007 02:36
You people make me sick. It takes a lot to change your body and in four years that is more then possilbe. I don’t look upon him with jealousy but with hope. I am in the process of loosing my belly and get to where he is. Don’t be jealous be happy for him because he has changed his life. And when someone works out to the point that he has it boosts ones self esteem. Just think about how he feels now compared to what he started with. Finally for closing Don’t hate someone who has motivation and ambitions to better themselves just becausee your too lazy and have no goals.
if the guy in the picks reads this… YOU ROCK. You have helped motivate me for the weeks to come in my own training. thanks man you look awesome

It’s “hip” to say something is Photoshopped these days. I think it’s just kids wanting to prove how smart they are. Don’t worry, you’ll grow out of it.
March 31st, 2007 03:38
Should have stopped 8/24. Went a little overboard towards the end. Small head man.
March 31st, 2007 03:51
This is from http://www.johnstonefitness.com/
And yeah, he really did it. I’ve been following it for a couple years now, at one point he was posting a picture every day.

Quite interesting.Something like this is made every month by Mens Health.A campaign where they try to remodel some people bodies.
April 1st, 2007 14:17
He looks good. Impressive transformation. All the hard work paid off.
April 2nd, 2007 11:30
Man… this guy is perfect. I mean the change he made is his own body…
Shame on you guys who are so jealous… photoshop? C’mon. It’s 4 years working out.
May 4th, 2007 22:18
sure it’s photoshop! hahahahah
August 12th, 2007 18:44
Hey! it’s been a while! you still at it? Your a big inspiration.
January 26th, 2008 01:55
I agree that his transformation is great. That is if you want to look like that. In my experience, though. Most people are happy with just being fit and don’t want to or need to be so buff.
My wife and I go to a class called Rhimba Synergy Fitness. You can also to this in your own home so you don’t have to go to a gym.
They combine international music with a cardio dance type of workout. I’ve lost over 20 pounds and my wife lost around 12 pounds in a short time. The best is that we do it only three times a week and we are able to keep of the weight.
Not only that, but I actually have a six pack now. I’m not buff, but I am in great shape.

Hi all great information here and good thread to comment on.
Can I ask though – how did you get this picked up and into google news?
Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?
Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

NOT PHOTOSHOP
September 12th, 2008 21:42
NOT PHOTOSHOP but steroids.
look at the 5th picture and the picture from 9/6/2004. almost 2 years of work but small difference. when you look at the picture 1/6/2005 you can see that he made bigger progress than in 2 previous years!!
another proof: look at his face. first 2 years – without steroids – the same size of face. 2 next years – his face is bigger because steroids make all the muscles bigger (include your heart etc.)
100% that’s not PS but hard work + steroids + good diet ( I suppose)
February 3rd, 2009 06:33
I actually think that he looks best in the fourth/fifth month…but, eh, I’m not a big fan of muscles in either gender.
March 9th, 2009 15:21
that’s a fake
you only need to see the first 4 pictures, from 1-6-2003 to 4-6-2003 is imposible to a person make that change in her stomach region in only 4 days without surgeon
bye

In my opinion he should have stopped in the picture “01/06/04″, when he was handsome. In the last ones he is inflated and looks too artificial, like if he was made of plastic.
March 18th, 2009 18:13
To the comentary number 25: You have missunderstood the dates. All pictures have aproximately one month between. The first ones were taken 6-Jan-2003, 6-Feb-2003, 6-March-2003, 6-April-2003. So that transformation was made in four months, which is also really really good.
April 18th, 2009 01:18
Somewhere along the end of 2004 he started taking steriods, also he lost all his leaness got bigger muscle and more fat. He smooth again just bigger.
September 2nd, 2009 21:22
Wow man, very inspirational. Love all the jealous people. Really you guys are pathetic! Go back to holding your couch down, and eating your big macs.
Just because someone bulks up doesn’t mean he’s on roids. If you don’t know him personally give him the benefit of the doubt. People can bulk up, while not using roids.
September 3rd, 2009 07:51
If anyone had gone out to his site they would realize that his initial goal was to get himself into shape. Once he reached that goal I believe he decided to begin bulking for bodybuilding, hence the larger muscles.
Also, to those who cried steroids, he makes various statements all across the site that he is a clean lifter. Granted, internet statements typically mean nothing, but again reading his site he started a bulking phase around that time. That includes eating a lot of proteins and fats to keep up with strenuous lifting to build the muscle, hence he got fatter and bigger. If you’ll notice, within the next 4 months his size decrease as he begins cutting.
So, no photoshop, no steroids just serious work and dedication.
October 4th, 2009 13:38
i don’t like his look now.somewhere around the middle he looked pretty cute..without the horrible orange tan of course.I hate abnormally big muscles and all that steroid use.I can’t think of one reason why other girls would like that.Look healthy and just a bit toned and you are perfect…start looking abnormal and i instantly loose interest. It like a red flag hey i use steroids and drug use also im full of myself. Not sure if it’s true but i heard the bigger you are and more steroids the smaller your package is..at least almost every girl i have talked to thinks that so i would think twice about steroids.
