Staircase to… heaven?

Monday, October 26th, 2009.

This outdoor staircase is for those who like extreme experiences. Hope this is not the… emergency exit :) . Located at Palace of Congresses in Biel, Switzerland.

Every government building should have a convenient place from which to commit suicide.

A handrail would have been nice.

This is so great! Ever used a hidden door in a platform game to get to some impossible place? Maybe this leads to a secret office full of powerups, you reemerge as All-Powerful-Janitor. Or maybe some CIO can use it to tell some visitors: Go ahead, I’ll meet you at my office, and while they go walking inside the building, he takes the short route and surprises them “What took you so long?” It would be cool enough, unless he falls off one day :)

Ofcourse it’s fake. They’d never let anything so unsafe be built.

    It’s real, and it’s a sculpture/art: http://www.likeyou.com/en/node/13651

The bit.ly-link to Google doesn’t even show the same wall of the building!
