With this little fact, we will start a new series with interesting, mini you-probably-did-not-know facts.
So, the first one: Do you know why adverts of new watches always show time around 10:10?
It has a simple answer: at 10:10, the hands’ positions help to show off best the name of the watchmaker. Also, somehow it helps the watch looks balanced. This tradition started back in 18-th century, and is still being kept today. Well, the electronic watches are another different story.
We could make up another legend of this one… Like, the first ever watchmaker successfully made the first movement then, 10:10 morning (or evening). Well, that was stupid.
