Beijing – Human Rights Violations in China

Bookmark and Share
Tuesday, January 29th, 2008.

Group of foreign journalists film injustices going on in China today. Houses and lands are seized without compensation and given to developers for profit and greed. Some say that the Central government in China does give funds to local governments to compensate, but is pocketed by local officials and police. I’m not sure, but this does warrant concern, especially since China has been hoarding commodity deals globally, enlisting Chinese immigrants in prestigious schools and companies, and basically has every major corporations begging to do biz with them. Perhaps, a new generation of Wong Fei Hung need to rise or at least more vids and news need to go public. Definitely for sure, leaders need to have a backbone for basic human rights, justice and basic ethical treatment for their own people before showing off their status to the world.
