A Fab at Home is a low-cost, open-source fabbing system to allow rapid making prototypes of 3D objects. Made by Hod Lipson and his team from Cornell University, the further purpose of this system is to be part of a robot, which can evolve by reprogramming himself and not only to improve his brain (software) but also his body (hardware).
