E-V Sunny Bicycle

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007.

From Reuben’s blog (thanks for this submit, Reuben): this is claimed to be the first fully solar-powered bicycle, invented by Peter Sandler. The light absorbing solar panels built right into the wheels, creating continual power from the sun’s rays, and maintaining a constant charge to the batteries. The bike is propelled by a 500 watt front hub motor.

So, you can take a break from cycling once you are tired. And remember to not ride the bike at night :) . Cool concept, click on the image to the product’s homepage.
