Colors from Masterpieces

Interesting analysis of famous masterpieces by Renoir, Van Gogh, Magritte, Dali… Thanks to Chris Roger for this submit. His notes:

Recently, I’ve taken twelve famous pieces of painted art and created colour palettes from them using their predominant colours of paintings like Picasso’s Three Musicians, van Gogh’s Starry Night, and Renoir’s La Promenade. What results is an examination of colour usage by those revered in the field of painted art, and a drawing of the eye more closely to the paintings for overall appreciation.
