haha.nu’s classical no. 10: Smetana – The Moldau (Vltava), Ma Vlast (My Country) symphonical suite.

Vltava (Moldau, in German) is the longest river in Czech. 430 km, flowing through many cities in Czech and draining into the north of Czech. It is also the name and subject of the most known symphonical piece from the symphonical suite “Ma Vlast (My Country)” by the great Czech composer Smetana. Performed by Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Kubelik. Enjoy it, this is one of my favorite classical piece of music. -Quang-
