Andres Amador uses sand beaches as canvas for his artworks. According to his words:
Yes- these are not photoshopped images. I do touch up the digital images to heighten contrast and balance colors and occassionally to remove tire tracks and lamp posts, but the designs are real and, for a few brief hours until the tide washes them away, exist for all to see.
