    This is an interesting idea…and the way he wobbles around is interesting too. I just don’t understand why the two are together? :P

    he wobbles around because he is the prime example of the conquering of time and space. we are in an age when time and space are no longer an issue, when the planet has become a global village. McLuhan talks about it in his book Understanding Media: “Today, after more than a century of electric technology, we have extended our central nervous system itself in a global embrace, abolishing both space and time as far as our planet is concerned” (McLuhan, 3).
