Sport car, drawn entirely with MS Paint

Bookmark and Share
Saturday, November 11th, 2006.

This video shows how a sport car is drawn only with Microsoft Paint and a mouse (no tablets, no vector drawing programs, no Photoshop…). Cool.

Check also this realtime sketching and drawing.

es asombroso, y esto creo que demuestra que no es tan importante la herramienta, sino quien la usa y como. Me encanto.

    Amazing work!

Bet he has photoshop, corel and all the other nice gizmos one can buy. But he just demonstrated he doesn’t need them to work miracles (”Give me a napkin and a pencil and I’m happy” style)

Do you know how good a video has to be for me to watch it for more than a couple of min? Not only did I watch this, but time flew. I didn’t even notice the time go by.

Nice drawings, but “back in the old days” in the Amiga with DeluxePaint it was much the same, except with only 16 to 64 colors.

Just think of the illustrations this person could make with a real illustration application, such as Adobe Illustrator!

Man that was crazy! You are highly, I repeat highly talented. I can’t even draw a box in MS word.

    weak.
    doesn’t look realistic.
    color scheme is horrible.

and for those of you reading my comments and saying “let’s see YOU draw that”, I say Get A Life. No #$%#$##@ way I’d waste my time doing this.

I’m not sure why this is “amazing.” Anyone with some artistic skill can do all of that and much, much more with rudimentary paint software like Paint. Some of us grew up in an era where a program like Paint would have been an absolute *dream* to work with for computer art.

I give the whole thing a hearty “meh.”

Amazing man, really, thats true talent. One question though, are you dyslexic? There are many blatant spelling errors throughout this video (not vidio)

umm… that was first off, amazing. I can’t even draw a car freehand, but I have a slight question?

    wheres the side mirrors?

I used to do the same thing in high school back in 1995, however back then MS Paint had no bezier curve tool. I would like to see this guy try to do it freehand.

Very cool. Only thing is for all that work I can’t get over how lopsided the windshield was. The perspective made the whole car drag.

    Really well done everywhere else.

Nice effort. I would work on correcting the perspective using traditional (pen/pencil and paper) before trying to tackle the slow and tedious digital drawings and renderings.

Man, all of you people who think it’s amazing blatantly can’t draw for shit.

Just because the guy made the effort to sit there on Paint for 2 hours doesn’t mean it was good. The perspective is totally screwed up, the colours are horrible; he just drew a stereotypical ‘cartoon’ sports car, like a teenage boy who thinks he can draw.

Wow that is entirely not nessesary. Theres a program called fireworks or photoshop that will look better and get it done faster in like 2 min compared to 30 minutes.

As an oldstyle airbrush tech illustraitor, i can see the guy knows what he is doing. He could probably do equally well with a stick dipped in chocolate. It’s not the tool, it is what you do with the tool.

So what if there’s a few spelling mistakes, obviously he’s not American/Canadian. Get off yer self imposed high-horse. I myself think it’s an awesome job done with MS Paint and all those saying so what.. do this with a proper program….. it’s out of context… it’s warped etc etc… Do it better or shut up and the excuse of I wouldn’t want to waste my time is a lame cop-out. Awesome job dewd … we wanna see more. (oh sowwy for the speeling misteaks)

The lesson to be learned here: A good artist can work with almost everything. Even a (comparatively) lame graphics software like MS Paint. And still produce better results that a lot of people snickering on how the car has no doors. No, it isn’t perfect, but the artist definitely has got talent.

why the fuck are you saying he had skill, yes a sports car drawn on ms paint WOW what a waste of time and for what ? a crapy car and other out there with ‘ Talent ‘ on the software have made realistic cars in the same amount of time .. so you can say o you go do that but i dont need to draw a pic on a crappy software pack i have my hnd in art and design and animation .. -.-
